I've chosen the Deluxe Dance Pad v3 because it has gotten great reviews on serveral dancing community websites. So far, I'm inclined to agree with their opinion. I've tested the pad with Dancing Stage Supernova on the PS2 and Stepmania on the PC - it worked right out of the box both times. The pad size is o.k. for my size 42 feet and it is probably only due to my clumsiness that I sometimes trigger the x/o pads when I want left or right.

If there's one drawback to the pad it's the fact that it has an awful plastic smell for the first couple of weeks. I would assume it's advisable to air it well until the worst of it is gone. This is also the only reason I'm rating this pad 4/5 instead of 5/5.
